WiSE Math
The Key for Infinite Possibilities

WiSE Math implements the PSI theory by Dr. Keller who graduating from Harvard University and designs the brand new mathematics which in line with the international mathematics curriculum and also suitable for student’s own level and progress. WiSE Math learning system helps to develop and enhance students’ critical thinking, logical thinking, problem solving skills and etc. with our special design materials.
W (Well-organized) - Well-organized course syllabus
The WiSE Math team fully analysed the mathematics teaching syllabus for various countries such as Taiwan, United States, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, China, Singapore, Japan, Indonesia, etc., and used B.F. Skinner’s theories to recreate the international mathematics education syllabus and integrated with mathematics matirials.
I (Independent) – Independent learning and critical thinking
Based on the PSI plan by Dr. Fred S. Keller, a pioneer in experimental psychology and who taught at Columbia University, we use unconventional teaching models to carry out Flipped Classroom so that students able to learn mathematics independently and develop a good habit of critical thinking.
S (Schematic) – Visual learning and thinking
According to a study by Roger W. Sperry, a Nobel Prize winner in Physiology and Medicine, visual/schematic thinking is the result of biological evolution. A study shows that visual thinking can enhance learning effects 60000 times as many as verbal thinking. The schematic solution guide and math problem design totally meet the gifted skills of human beings. The schematic design can stimulate the corpus callosum in students’ brains to facilitate interhemispheric communication and store more learning effects.
E (Effective) - Effective learning
We exercise the chunking theory by Herbert Simon and William Chase, build a professional teaching system, demand good learning attitudes, and arrange the materials prudently to create an effective and efficient teaching/learning system.
Programme Philosophy
Our PSI (Personalised Learning of Instruction) is student centered approach. It can change students’ learning habit, cultivates them to be independent, develop their critical thinking and problem solving skill.
Learning Outcomes:

Teaching Method:

Curriculums & Materials
Multi-models
There are various mathematics models in learning materials to develop children’s problem solving and thinking skills.
Multi-methods
The learning materials stimulate the flexible thinking in diversified ways.
Whole Approach
The learning materials which include images and words help to balance the development between the left and right brains hemisphere.

Unit Plan:
The unit plan reinforces the depth and broadness of the learning content arrangement. One unit of the learning material focuses on one theme, which will increase students’ attention and concentration effectively.
