3 Stages: Golden Period of Children’s Brain Development

The golden period of children’s brain development is the first thousand days of their life. Brain development occurs during this period, the brain will keep developing rapidly then consolidate when they reach 6 years old.

Absorption Period (0-3 years old)

Every child between the ages 0 to 3 years old is believed to be geniuses. This is because the child is able to absorb and process information at an amazing rate. Understanding the data is not the priority. At this time it is input is more important. Age 0-3 is the period in which the child maximizes the utilization of the right brain.

Consolidation Period (3-6 years old)

This period we need to maximize the potential of the students by improving the Intelligence Quotient (IQ), Emotional Quotient (EQ), and Creativity Quotient (CQ) of the children. We need to boost the efficiency of learning through hands-on activities in which students are more engaged with their hands and brain. This allows students to be more focused and motivated to learn.

Output Period (6-12 years old )

Children are able to apply the knowledge that they have been learned. They can show the connection between ideas and search for innovative approaches to solve problems and generating new ideas.
